Nice problem: how will Google use $2 billion

Google Inc. has asked the Securities and Exchange Commission to put in motion its initial public offering registration, and the Internet search service is looking at a possible $1.7 million dollar windfall as a result of the offering. Though the company is remaining tight-lipped as to how it may spend the surplus, speculation abounds. Some suggest the company will invest in software development and the diversification of its current services.

SAP's 3rd-period sales set to beat forecasts

SAP AG is expected to post higher than forecasted sales for the 2003 third quarter. The company is forecasting 1.65 billion euros in sales for the period, compared to an analyst forecast of 1.62 billion euros.

Cap Gemini posts full-year loss, cites weak sales

Article Abstract:

Cap Gemini Ernst and Young S.A. posted a net loss of 514 million euros for the 2002 year, compared to a 152 million euros profit in 2001. The firm blamed the loss on weak sales.
