OTE profit declines

Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A. (OTE) posted a higher than anticipated fall in its 2002 net profit. The company posted a 9.4% drop to 358.1 million euros in its yearly net profits. OTE was expected to post an increase of 5%.

Telkom Indonesia posts higher net as revenue rises

Article Abstract:

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom Indonesia) posted a 13% increase in net profits for the 2003 first half. The company, helped by higher revenues, posted 3.784 trillion rupiah (391.3 million euros) in net profits for the period.

Operating profit rises at Tele2

Article Abstract:

Tele2 AB posted a 360 million Swedish kronor (39.3 million euros) in net profits for the 2002 fourth quarter. The company posted 2.579 billion kronor in profits in the same 2001 period.
