One-on-ones: Investor meetings with executives surge, add a risk of data leaks

Article Abstract:

Securities analysts are increasingly valued by instititutional investors more for their ability to arrange meetings with corporate executives than for their analysis of stocks. The fact that investors are acting on information gleaned from these meetings means that this practice is testing the bounds of laws protecting against the use of insider information by investors.

As Google matures, investors take closer look at its risks

Article Abstract:

Share price for Google Inc. of the United States is fluctuating after soaring increases. The search engine giant posted results for the fourth quarter that fell short of expectations. Some investors have sold their shares at about $400 per share and others have bought at about $339 per share, betting the stock will skyrocket to $500 or $600 per share.
