The Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) efforts to bring all the fishing sectors across the world in place with the FAO Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries are investigated. The provisions of the Code that standardize the fishing regulations are interpreted.

Norway minister's blue whiting plea; cut catch to 1.55 tonnes

Article Abstract:

Svein Ludvigsen, Norway's fisheries minister proposed massive cuts in blue whiting quotas for all North Atlantic countries. The cuts will help in controlling blue whiting fishery and managing the stock.
