PZL-Swidnik production 1998

Article Abstract:

Seventeen helicopters will be delivered by Poland's PZL-Swidnik to various customers, including the Kania helicopter, which was ordered by the Czech Republic and the Polish Interior Ministry. A Mil Mi-2 helicopter was delivered to Polska Miedz (Polish Copper Co.). PZL-Swidnik also sent its W-3WARM Anakonda helicopter to the Polish Navy. Industry analysts have reported that PZL-Swidnik may be up for sale to Western companies if the Polish government proceeds with privatization plans for its aerospace industry.

Bell shows MH-1W

Article Abstract:

Bell Helicopter unveiled its MH-1W multi-mission variant of the AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter at the FIDAE air show in Santiago, Chile, in Mar 2000. However, the MH-1W on display lack some weapons and sensor capabilities because the US government is likely to object to the introduction of fully equipped attack helicopters in South America. Among the countries interested in buying the MH-1W are Columbia and Chile.
