The Palestinian Securities Exchange is flourishing with an increase in investor activity and share prices have increased 150 percent this year, nearly tripling from last year. Amidst surging corporate profits and hopes that the Israeli conflict will calm.

British consumers, who are heavily in debt, are taking advantage of debt-repayment programs, paying as little as 25% of their credit card bills. This is causing a decline in profits for the credit-card banks.
