People in the footsteps of Pevsner

Article Abstract:

The original author of Buildings in England guidebooks, Nikolaus Pevsner, had a limited amount of time to study the subject and check on what his researchers were doing, although those involved in updating the guidebooks can afford to spend more time and ensure the work is carried out to their own high standards. Alan Brooks and Bill Wilson have up dated the Norfolk and Cotswolds versions of the academic building guide.
