Almost 90% of the exports and gross domestic product of Brunei, the tiny sultanate on the island of Borneo, depend on the oil production of the country. The steady growth of the country's economy supported by its resource wealth and the hovering global oil prices is analyzed.

Oil officials in Iraq are planning a "crash program" for oil exploration in the next few months. However, the country's damaged oil infrastructure will make it difficult to increase production over prewar levels.
