Pictures from an exhibition: images of OR MS

Article Abstract:

Various metaphors have been developed to describe organizational culture and corporate change. Organizations have been viewed in terms of physical metaphors such as machine, organisms and the brain. On the other hand, the culture, psychic prisons and political systems metaphors focus on the sociological and psychological nature of the firm. These alternative metaphors set a common ground on which people can rally for needed change. However, such metaphors need to adjust to the changing aspects of organizational life to remain useful and applicable.
