Pokemon pirates' pursuit is big-stakes chase; top cop for Nintendo works to catch counterfeiters

Article Abstract:

Nintendo of America is used to chasing down video game pirates, but now it has to find the Pokemon trading cards, figurines, apparel and toys counterfeiters, too. The company's antipiracy group found 29 New York City retailers peddling fake goods in one month alone. To spot a fake trading card, hold it up to the light. If it's a fake, you can see through it. In a very large raid of Los Angeles warehouses, computer files were even downloaded that revealed an international network.
