Preussag leaves steel behind to become tourism titan

Today, Germany's Preussag AG, known since 1923 as a steel and mining company, is expected to release an impressive 1998 fiscal profit report that is due largely to its tourism operations. The company's tourism operations have grown over hte past two years, producing nearly half of the group's profits, which are estimated at 577 million marks or 30 marks per share.
