BBDO to cut staff

Article Abstract:

BBDO Worldwide has announced that it will have to lay off staff at its North American offices. The move is prompted by a new corporate structure that will be necessary to handle the consolidated Chrysler Group business that was awarded to the advertising agency in late 2000. BBDO plans to establish a new global structure, called PentaMark Worldwide, in Detroit, MI, that will handle operations previously handled through individual BBDO agencies in North America.
