Dalton's eyes: scientific history

Article Abstract:

Dalton believed that color-blindness was caused by a defective vitreous humor in the eyes. Later research proved that the vision problem is caused by a defective maternal x chromosome that effect the ability to see certain wavelengths. Research showed that Dalton could not see medium wavelengths.

Ubermenshen: Nazi statuary

Article Abstract:

Olympia 2000, the committee which is trying to lure the Olympics to Germany, is undecided about how to remove 35 statues in Berlin's Olympia-Stadion which were commissioned by Hitler. The statues may be encased in perspex or polythene.
