Product review

Article Abstract:

The downturn in the construction industry has affected the internal fittings market, making competition fierce and forcing several companies out of business. The flexibility of demountable partitioning is making this a popular product as partition manufacturers are adapting their products to the changes in office design. There are few new products in the ceiling and floor panel sectors but ductless air conditioning and service handling are areas of development. All internal fittings suppliers emphasise their ecological properties and adaptability.

Catering for offices

Article Abstract:

Catering facilities have changed within companies from several tiers to just one, with separate amenities for entertainment of visitors. This is partly due to the changes in eating habits, but it is also seen as advantageous in mixing staffing elements. The trend is for clients to employ an independent catering consultant who will deal with every aspect from menus to equipment, to regulations.
