Risk transportation via a clique number problem formulation

Article Abstract:

A new approach based on similarity coefficients, clique number and taxonomy theory is proposed to deal with the risk transportation programming problem. It is concluded that a distributed system is needed to solve the clique problem and that it is possible to use this system to share workload among processors and speed up the computation.

Towards the improvement of a combined transport chain performance

Article Abstract:

A modelling approach focusing on the comparative evaluation of conventional and advanced rail-road terminal equipment that can improve the performance of the freight transport operations in the rail sector. The analysis revealed that each design is effective for a certain cargo volume range and is restricted by capacity limitations.

Exploring inter-organisational relationships in the health service: an immersive drama approach

A novel approach to the exploration of the changes in relationships between Health Services organisations is described. The approach is based on the assumption that participants gain more than cognitive appreciation of the situation in which they are immersed.
