A description of the design and construction of an extension to a riverside property in Beaulieu, Hampshire, England, is presented. New work was designed by Architect John Pardey. The house was initially designed by Architect Basil Spence in 1961.

A star is born

Article Abstract:

The new theatre and gallery complex in Milton Keynes, England, includes a restaurant, a theatre, with a capacity for 1,600 people, and an art gallery. It is situated alongside Campbell Park. The building was designed by Andrzej Blonski/Michael Heard Architects. The cost of the complex was 24,500,000 pounds sterling, with 2.1 million pounds sterling being supplied by the National Lottery. It took 2 years and five months to complete. The architects created the buildings around an open air square which they hope will by used for public events.
