Ryanair's net profit rises 30% on cost cuts, passenger numbers

Increased passenger numbers and successful cost-cutting measures have led to a net rise in Ryanair Holdings PLC's profits over first quarter results from a year earlier. Fares have been reduced at the airline, however, and the company is cautious about its full year predictions, stating that average fares are expected to remain low over the winter.

BAA is cleared to raise charges

BA refocuses on restructuring
