SAP profit rises 11% on strong U.S. performance

SAP AG of Germany posted an 11 percent increase in net profit for the first quarter. Earnings increased to 282 million Euros ($349.4 million) up from 254 million Euros last year. Revenue increases for the software manufacturer were due to expanding market share in the United States and Germany, it's home market.

SAP's profit rises 43% despite sluggish sales

SAP AG of Germany posted 2nd quarter soaring profit of 43 percent to 414 million Euros ($521.6 million), compared with 289 million Euros. Revenues were buoyed by sales growth and decreased taxation.

Software firm raises outlook on positive 3rd-quarter results
