HLL TARGETS Rs700 CR TURNOVER IN POPULAR FOODS

Article Abstract:

Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) plans to post sales of Rs700 crore in its popular foods business during the next 5 years. HLL expects the popular foods segment, which includes atta and salt, to turn out into the biggest among various business groups of HLL in the next 10-15 years. It expects to achieve the target through a growth in volumes. The volumes growth is expected to come through product superiority, low distribution costs and the backing of a strong brand. (ag)
