Article Abstract:

The broadcasting studios for Classic FM have been designed by architect, Stanton Williams. Situated in a long semi-basement, the studios and associated office space has an open, light atmosphere created in the architect's minimalist style. Natural light is manipulated to give a distinctive quality to the white walls while the open plan office and use of glass partitions gives transparency. Stanton Williams is known for its up-market shop designs and the Classic FM studios have a stylish, relaxed but commercial image.
