Malaysian firm may play big role in plans for Sabah

Article Abstract:

Observers believe North Borneo Timber Bhd. in the Sabah government's reforestration plans despite the official rejection of its latest proposal. North Borneo Timber is the only company in the Malaysian state with wide experience in reforestration and this fact could give it a significant advantage over competing firms. This belief is bolstered by official pronouncements regarding the Sabah government's intention to work with North Borneo Timber on the reforestration project.
