Member countries of the European Community will choose whether or not to retain their current commissioners when their four-year terms expire in December of 1992. The term European Commission president Jacques Delors has been extended two years.

The 17 commissioners nearing the end of their four-year terms are evaluated. Pres Jacques Delors felt that the team was inefficient, and they accuse him of acting too much on his own. Commissioners returning for another term are indicated.
