Snow clearance test

Article Abstract:

Bristol International Airport's Motor Transport unit has developed a new de-icing vehicle for runways and taxiway clearance that is especially designed for UK weather conditions. The bespoke machine has been created in collaboration with Keevil Engineering and other airport departments. The sprayer has two tasks, namely, to prevent ice forming and to deal with ice on the ground. Thus, the equipment has two different settings for delivery of fluid to combat frost and ice.
