Irish company Airsoft has launched a new product called the Air Situation Display. The software operates on a professional and flexible personal computer-based hardware platform using EATCHIP concept-based HMI technology. Air Situation Display incorporates a Windows display on any type of computer screen. Distance-from-touchdown information is produced as well as glide scope monitoring of aircraft on the final approach, which indicates deviations from the optimum glide path.

Remtech SA has launched its latest sodar software that offers improved noise substraction coding, multifrequency coding and adaptive validation criteria. The debuting software also featuress a 1,000-fold power increase compared to single frequency sodar. Furthermore, Remtech's sodar software is packaged with enhanced acoustic transducers and frequency selection to provide long-range acoustic wind profiling that reaches elevations up to more than 3 km.

Airtel ATN of Ireland has unveiled three new software products at the ATN2000 conference in London, UK, in Sep 2000. These include the Access Router, Gateway Server and AOC Application Support Package. All three software products are ICAO SARPs compliant and compatible with the evolving Arinc-637 standard and are designed to support data communications between the ground and aircraft flight decks.
