Industria e Investimentos S.A. of Portugal has offered a 10.7 billion Euros ($12.9 billion) bid for Correios e Telecomunicacoes de Portugal EP also of Portugal. The bid for the telecommunications company is 9.50 Euros per share. Correios e Telecomunicacoes de Portugal EP is the largest telecommunications company in Portugal and is a sign of consoidation in the industry in Europe.
