Springer-Miller seeks place in Asia's hotel industry

Article Abstract:

Springer-Miller Systems Inc.'s (Springer-Miller) distribution deal with Fujitsu Systems Business Malaysia Bhd. has allowed the company to establish a foothold in the Asian market. Contracts for Springer-Miller's proprietary Host Complete Hospitality Management System have been signed with several hotels in Malaysia and Singapore. The company is also looking to expand to other Asian markets such as Vietnam, China, Indonesia and Thailand.

New software helps ease burden of filing travel-expense reports

Article Abstract:

Several software programs allow travel expense reports to be processed electronically. These include On The Go Software's Quicken ExpensAble 98, IBM's Electronic Expense Reporting Solution, Extensity's Extensity Expense Reports and Necho's NavigatER. The use of travel and expense reporting software also greatly reduces filing costs and processing time and allows users to track reports online from start to end.

Wooing India's tech trade

Article Abstract:

Singapore wants to be attractive to India as an alternative investment option, and it is trying to lure Indian technology companies to relocate there. Should the U.S. economy make a downturn, India could use Singapore to access Asian outlets.
