Sulzer unveils major restructuring plan as bourse delves into insider trading

Article Abstract:

Sulzer Technology Corp. announced a major restructuring strategy. The strategy is intended to turnaround the declining profits of Sulzer's industrial unit. Sulzer's operating profits fell by 20% during the first-half of 1999 as a result of the poor performance of the company's industrial unit. In addition, the Swiss Exchange is conducting a probe into Sulzer for possible insider trading.
