National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco) of Bhubaneswar has published its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 1998. It is an aluminium producer. It earned Rs12.43 crore through exchange variation on foreign balances during the second quarter of 1998-99 (Rs1.55 crore during the second quarter of 1997-98). During the period, it also earned an interest income of Rs14.13 crore (Rs16.37 crore) and other income of Rs4.61 crore (Rs13.54 crore). (ag)
