INEL SET TO PUT TWO-WHEELERS ON DIGITAL IGNITION
Article Abstract:
India Nippon Electricals Ltd (INEL) proposes to launch a new ignition system based on digital mode for two wheelers. INEL has tied up with Kokusan Denki of the Hitachi group of Japan for the technology. The digital ignition system will improve the performance of the vehicle by cutting down fuel consumption and emission. TVS Suzuki's new model of motorcycles will be fitted with the digital ignition system. INEL is a joint venture of Lucas Indian Service and Kokusan Denki. (rk)

Maharaja International, a white goods manufacturer and a subsidiary of Electrolux AB of Sweden, is changing its name to Electrolux Kelvinator Ltd. The change of name has been approved by the shareholders and necessary application will be made to Registrar of Companies.
