Taiwan firms in spotlight

Article Abstract:

Venture capitalists are assertively seeking out Taiwanese information software firms that could guarantee generous investment profits. End result from Taiwan firms may soar yearly by 30% in sales terms over the succeeding five years, jumping from the NT$65 billion in total sales seen in 1997, said C.W. Chen of the Institute for the Information Industry in Taiwan. He added that firms like Ares International Corp., Ulead, ACER TWP Corp. and Summit Computer Technology Co. are the most likely to register first on the over-the-counter market due to their robust earnings record.

MindTree Consulting receives more funding
