Article Abstract:

The efforts of the rural Chinese provincial governments in helping the unemployed are discussed. The Anhui's provincial government has employment agencies in 6 cities, it is the largest supplier of migrant labor in China. As the competition is increasing, the workers cannot bargain for wages and congenial work conditions.

Legend goes for the big league

Liu Chuanzhi, sometimes called the Bill Gates of China, founded Legend Group Ltd. computer company that is now worth about $2.6 billion. The Chinese government owns a majority stake in the company. Recently, the company announced that it would begin debuting new products partly in order to boost sagging sales.

Rural Credit Co-operatives (RCC) is the mainstay of the Chinese farmer's finances, and is in a deep financial crisis due to non-recoverable debts. Due to this they are facing a tremendous financial crunch and are finding it difficult to loan any more money.
