Fifa, international governing body for professional football, announced its verdict in the case of French football club Rennes vs. Italian football club Inter Milan. European law does not protect football clubs from financial losses in cases when young players leave them and join other clubs. The French sports federation is trying to enforce the rights of French football clubs related to the players they trained.
