The fear of litigation is expected to increase the use of risk management during buyout activities in Europe, with specialist firms being brought in to provide risk management services. Insurance firm J&H Marsh & McLennan is seeking to expand into European risk management by opening a chain of offices to meet the growing demand for risk services from mergers and acquisitions deals. The firm believe there is little support for venture capital firms seeking sound risk management advise.
