For example, the gross domestic product has increased in both France and Germany, and Germany has seen a 15% increase in exports. It is also expected that the improvement will benefit employment

Britain's place in Europe

Article Abstract:

Prime Minister Tony Blair will hold the rotating titular leadership of the EU for the first half of 1998. Public opinion in his own country is against British membership in the European Monetary Union. A multi-system Europe comprising many unions should be advanced in place of the present system.
