O happy crisis!

Article Abstract:

It is possible to argue that lack of accountability has been the main factor behind the financial crisis in Asia. Most significantly, the relationship between government and business has been too close. There will certainly be some victims of the financial crisis, but some opportunities will also arise. The financial crisis can be used to rebuild Asian economies on the basis of risk and reward. This would ensure that Asia's real potential is maximized.
