The dawn of the iron age: hydrogen fuel

Article Abstract:

A New Jersey company called H Power has developed a process for creating hydrogen fuel that involves mixing water, iron powder and heat, then turning the resulting rust back to iron. This could be a good be a good source of energy for non-polluting automobiles, and Rolls Royce is working with H Power to develop one.

Nuclear power: losing its charm

The high cost of nuclear power generation relative to other energy producing methods has led several nations to reduce their commitments to nuclear energy development. Much of the cost of nuclear power can be traced to legitimate public safety concerns.
