The fans of Mars

Article Abstract:

Mars has become a popular topic for movies, with 'Mission to Mars' to be released in Mar 2000, and 'Red Planet', to be released later that year, among Mars movies. The movies are based on plans of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for a manned mission to Mars. There is hope that greater interest will be aroused in Mars as a resultof the movies. Scientists may be able to find commercial spnsorship for work on Mars as a result of the movies. There is also a belief that a privately funded mission could be the first manned mission to Mars.
