The halt, the blind, the dyslexic

Article Abstract:

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 has helped a large number of disabled people to obtain work, according the the act's supporters. Critics argue that there have been frivolous claims which cause problems for employers, but the cost of the act has been less than pessimists feared. Over one million disabled people obtained work from 1991 to 1994. There are still problems in defining who is disabled, which may be partly resolved with a Supreme Court case relating to an HIV patient.
