The snowman goeth

Article Abstract:

British boarding schools were seen as places where children learnt self-reliance during the time of the British Empire, but in later years there have been criticisms of the boarding school system. The number of boarders in private sector schools has dropped during the 1990s. This is linked to a drop in numbers of military families, the early 1990s recession, and changes affecting family life whereby parents are meant to want to see their children more. Boarding schools have increased the amenities that they provide for children, and are also becoming more flexible.

A compromise has been achieved which includes a payment for Zacarias. The dispute reflects the growing power of Latino voters in southern California.
