Globe and Mail and Toronto Star redesigned their newspapers by reducing its size. The new trend in newspapers is to convert broadsheets into tabloid format. This redesigning has proved to be very beneficial for both the customers and publishers. Newsprint costs have minimized and circulation increased from 1% to 3% because readers like the easier-to-handle broadsheets.
