This article discusses production cutbacks and staffing reductions planned by Recif of Aussonne in Southern France. The company makes robots used to handle and track silicon wafers during production of computer hips. Recif's cutbacks come as a result of the decline in the semiconductor industry in the United States.

Recif says first-half net surged to 2.3 million euros

Atos to acquire Schlumberger unit
