Democrats attending the Democratic National Convention loved Bill Clinton and his running mate Al Gore. They finally feel they may have a winning presidential ticket. With George Bush's presidency facing problems, Clinton may have a chance if he concentrates on the general public and not just minorities.

Article Abstract:
The Democratic Party is well-positioned to return to the White House in 1992. Pres Bush is a weak incumbent, and Bill Clinton is an innovative, moderate challenger. Clinton's best hope is for good Black voter turnout and H. Ross Perot siphoning off Bush voters.
