Toyota Motor Corp. plans to spend over $10 billion in capital spending per year for the next few years, with plans to build new plants throughout the world. The focus will be on enhancing manufacturing capabilities in North America.

Toyota may add China capacity to hit sales goal

Article Abstract:

In order to meet its 2010 sales target, Toyota Motor Co. is considering building two more plants in China and increasing the capabilities of its Chinese factories . Toyota hopes to sell 1 million vehicles in China by 2010.

U.S. car makers to expand in China
