Trawl sonar suits lighter nets

Article Abstract:

The introduction of US made Wesmar, TCS 335 and TCS 345 trawl sonars into Europe is discussed. The salient features of these trawl sonars are described and the mechanism of their usage is explained. TCS 335 being light in weight and size is useful for smaller vessels with light nets.
