Switzerland's airlines holding company SAirGroup AG, is looking at a new strategy to restore confidence in the company and its subsidiary airlines, hotels and related companies . SAirGroup management is considering selling off some of the companies to return it to profitability.

SAirGroup outlines restructuring plan in bid to cut losses

SAirGroup revealed its corporate restructuring plan as the financially-troubled carrier attempts to reduce losses. In addition, SAirGroup has secured a one billion swiss franc credit line and will change its name.

Without help from Swissair, AOM/Air Liberte may fail

AOM/Air Liberte may have to declare bankruptcy if managers are unable to seek new funding. Swissair, the parent carrier of AOM/Air Liberte, may have to incur restructuring costs in order to save its subsidiary.
