UPC, Primacom will delay vote on merger plan

United Pan-Europe Communications N.V. (UPC) and Primacom AG have agreed to postpone a vote by the latter's stockholders on a possible merger with UPC's unit in Germany. UPC blamed the delay on changes in the market and on unsatisfied terms.

Viacom denies it plans to sell Simon & Schuster

Article Abstract:

Viacom Inc. stated that it is not planning to sell off its Simon and Schuster Inc. division after its planned purchase of CBS Corp. Viacom is planning to acquire CBS for $36 billion (34 billion euros).
