U.S. renews push on China's Yuan

Article Abstract:

The Yuan, the currency of China has shown little increase in the past two months causing the United States Department of the Treasury to complain to Beijing. The issue of the revaluation of the Yuan had been thought to be resolved. The undervalued currency is perceived as a detriment to the United States business community.

WTO sides with EU on steel

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has decided that US duties on some steel imports from Great Britain are in violation of global trade agreements. The decision represents a major setback for the US steel industry's efforts to protect itself against foreign competition.
