No abatement in Banana War

Article Abstract:

The US Trade Representative is still proposing to change the 100% punitive tariffs to be applied on its imports from the EU and may also increase the tariff to more than 100% for some luxury items. The tariffs were imposed because of the EU's ban on hormone-fed beef and discriminatory regulations against bananas from certain countries. The punitive tariffs could be applied on motorcycles, hair clippers, pecorino cheese and sweet biscuits.
