Kansai is back on track

Article Abstract:

Kansai International Airport has revealed that it has emerged from a phase of depressed traffic, and expects 4% to 5% growth for 2000. The off-shore airport has successfully drawn back airlines that have withdrawn before due to downturn in passengers figures and the highest airport charges in the world. Kansai International was able to do this by introducing an attractive incentive package that offers significant discounts to new airlines and airlines adding new frequencies.
