WPP Group raises the ante in takeover battle for Tempus

WPP Group PLC has launched a takeover fight with Havas Advertising SA for Tempus PLC. WPP has made a new takeover offer of 555 pence (8.74 euros) per share for Tempus, a media buying company.

Havas Advertising agrees to acquire Tempus Group
